We are seeking a copywriter with creativity, an understanding of direct marketing and a keen interest in the financial markets industry. You will work with our team of copywriters and get involved in all aspects of direct marketing campaigns for our financial newsletter division. This role is integral to increasing Lombardi’s brand awareness and growing our subscriber base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing direct marketing copy;
• Working with copywriters, publishers and marketers to help create new products and titles;
• Develop, execute and monitor multiple marketing campaigns, both online and offline;
• Closely monitor costs and return on investment on each campaign;
  Schedule media buy opportunities and be able to strongly negotiate in the best interests of the company;
• Continually network in the industry to connect with copywriters, media-buying opportunities and other channels to promote our products;
• Perform competitive intelligence and be able to make recommendations to help keep us competitive in the marketplace.

Skills Profile:

• Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years copywriting experience in advertising or direct marketing
• Knowledge of financial markets, stocks, and the economy
• Demonstrated writing skills in digital and offline channels
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
